Cave of Forgotten Dreams dir. Werner Herzog.
Fascinating look at these caves with the Herzog’s distinctive narration makes it all the more compelling. Kind an odd reach at the end with albino crocodiles, but those were cool too.

One sided on the NY Times side with the focus on the media desk, but David Carr is a standout featured personality.

Bahahahahaaaa

I haven’t seen the film “Limitless”, but I love the opening titles!

Every director has ‘signature’ shots.

“For relaxing times, it’s Suntory time” aka “The Films of Sofia Coppola”. Edited by Kees van Dijkhuizen © 2011.

I don’t think it will be much a Dilemma for me whether to go and see movie “The Dilemma”.

I think A.O. Scott’s review in the NYTimes is probably more entertaining than the film:
“…Mr. Vaughn is Ronny, gathering the nerve and the money to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Beth (Jennifer Connelly). To ask if Mr. Vaughn and Ms. Connelly have any chemistry is to invoke the wrong science; extreme disparities of size and shape suggest, instead, a fascinating problem of zoology, as if a whippet had decided to cohabit with a yak.”

1.“Badder Santa” to be exact. The TV version bleeps waaaaay too much.
2. “Elf” — for now. When TBS starts running it for 24 hours like they do with “A Christmas Story” thereby ruining THAT film, “Elf” will be off my list. But Peter Billingsley is in this one, so I get a some “A Christmas Story” points, right?
3. “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”: Okay, this only takes place during the holidays, not exactly Christmas themed, but Christmas themed movies at Christmas get awfully tiresome (I’m talking about you “A Christmas Story”) don’t they?
4. “Love Actually”: Gotta have a sappy one in there right?. Bill Nighy FTW in this one and the kid that wears the lobster costume.
