Hawaii Kai is not without its merits. These photos tell only part of the beauty that is Hawaii Kai. First of all, there’s the marina with all its water activities and sporting activities- the kind of sports that can be played while holding a beer —yachting, fishing and shooting pool and lobbing darts (the shark experience is on hold for now). For the more passive, there’s several restaurants lining the marina and even a movie theater.  For the morbidly passive, there is a Taco Bell slash Pizza Hut.
